'Charles Street Cowboy': Another unreleased shot, a minor key effort, with a rather tentative guitar solo, possibly Lynn Taitt, though it doesn't sound particularly accomplished by his standards. 'Only Soul Can Tell': Presumably released in the UK because Slim Smith was under contract elsewhere, this is unmistakably the great Curtis Mayfield influenced vocalist. Originally issued on Blue Beat in 1966.
